Here you will find all the information you need in order to adopt a Clumsy bear and order from the Clumsy Bear's website. Hopefully we have covered all the terms and conditions here but if you need any further information please feel free to contact us.

 

Clumsy Bears - Artist Bears:

All Clumsy Bears and other animals are handmade. Most are one of a kind. occasionally there will be a short run of the same design from the same fabric but these will not be identical. All components will be listed in the individual descriptions.

When the Clumsy Bear stall is out at a fair, we will endeavour to check regularly for any orders on the website and will remove from the website any items sold at the fair as soon as possible. Please check the fair dates and email us on a fair day if you would like to reserve a Clumsy Bear and we will endeavour to remove it from the stall if possible. Please note that this may not be possible and in the event that you purchase an item that is no longer available, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.

Please note that all our bears and animals are collectables and contain small parts. They are therefore not suitable for children under 14 years old.

Memory & Keepsakes:

Please get in touch to agree suitable amount of clothing for your order, we require between 1 & 5 items of clothing depending on the required appearance of a bear or animal and 1 or 2 items for a cushion.

Please ensure all clothes are washed and clean. If the items are of an unusual fabric, please contact us first. We reserve the right to refuse items that are unwashed, too worn or of a fabric we will be unable to work with. If you specifically want all the items using, or feel particularly strongly about certain items, this must be specified when the clothing is sent to us. We will do our best to honour all requests.

If you are in any doubt about the condition of the clothes, the quantity, or have any other questions about them please email us before you send them.  We cannot be responsible for any items lost in the post on their way to us and we therefore recommend that you send all clothes recorded delivery.

For handmade Memory items please allow up to 4 weeks for completion. We reserve the right to change the delivery times during busy periods, please contact us if you have a deadline and we will do our best to accommodate this.

Please note that the item may appear slightly different to those in our pictures due to different types of materials used.

​

Please note that as the materials provided for the Memory & Keepsake items, the completed item is not suitable for children under 14.

 

Prices & Postage 

All prices are subject to an additional postage an packaging charge at checkout. For Memory & Keepsake items we have set the postage to include guaranteed delivery and insurance. We reserve the right to charge additional postage for larger orders.

Once payment has been received, the item will be posted within 5-7 working days with the exception of Memory & Keepsake items, please see above.

Returns Policy:

We hope that you will be happy with your purchase, however, if for any reason you are not, please email us on receipt and return within 7 days. We offer a full refund for non-personalised items.

​

We do not accept returns for personalised items and memory/keepsake items, however, please get in touch on receipt of the item and we will endeavour to correct any mistakes on our part.
